Sedum

Sedum systems are the most popular of all green roofing systems providing attractive coverage that changes seasonally. Up to 9 different species of sedum are seeded into our systems that can be installed in three ways:

  • Sedum Blanket System (up to 90% pre-grown coverage on install)
  • Sedum Plugged System (approx. 20 plugs per m2)
  • Sedum Seeded System (approx.. 5kg per m2)

Sedum is extremely hardy and grows in shallow soil, provides a light weight system which many other plants can't survive in. Our standard sedum systems are made up of the following components:

  • ESGR DRAIN08
  • ESGR FILTLER FLEECE
  • ESGR EXTSUB 50mm
  • ESGR PEB2040
  • ESGR SEDMAT / SEDPLUG / SEDSEE

Wildflower Roofs

Our wildflower roofs contain a large diversity of species native to the UK, including herbs, grasses and wildflower. Wildflower roofs require more maintenance than sedum but creates a beautiful coverage that is perfect if aesthetics is a key concern. As with our Sedum Systems, Wildflower Roofs can be installed as Blanket, Plugged or Seeded. Our standard wildflower systems are made up of the following components:

  • DRAIN20 (+FF for Plugged Systems)
  • FILFLE (excluding Plugged Systems)
  • EXTSUB 100mm (120mm for Seeded Systems)
  • PEB2040
  • WLDMAT / LONSM / EGRPLG

Brown Roofs

Brown Roofs are the perfect option where planning requires the natural colonisation of plants. Nature provides the seeding process, although sometimes they need a little help to avoid them looking barren. Our Brown Roof Systems can be installed plain or to allow for further biodiversity, including elements such as sand and log piles to provide a richer environment for cultivation. Our Brown Roof System are made up of the following components:

  • DRAIN08/20
  • FILFLE
  • INTSUB >100mm / BIOSUB 80-150mm
  • PEB2040
